What you need to know about Medicare and Medicaid
Medicare and Medicaid are two confusing Federal and State programs that can help our elderly citizens pay for Healthcare, Drugs, Nursing Homes and other health related services. Do you know the difference? Summit Adult Day Center is sponsoring a FREE program that will explain the basics of the perplexing world of Medicare/Medicaid and answer questions like: Who can qualify for which program? What do each program do? At what age can I get benefits? Are there income qualifications? What about my assets? If I go on Medicaid will the State take all my money? If you are approaching retirement or are retired, if you have a senior citizen in your family or are a caregiver for a senior citizen then you should attend this program.
The Speakers for this informative evening are Pat Cook, RN BSN, MA from the Colorado Gerontological Society of Denver and Tambi Rondinone, Physcial Therapist of Legacy Home Health Agency
This FREE program will be held on September 18th, 2014 beginning at 6pm and will be held at the Summit Adult Day and Activity Center, 9032 W Ken Caryl Ave, Littleton CO 80128. Refreshments will be served.
