Needing help with personal care can feel like losing independence. At Irwin House, our aim is the opposite: to give people the help they need in a way that protects their dignity and their daily choices. Irwin House is a small, home-like assisted living home from Lighthouse Assisted Living, at 2745 E Irwin Place, Centennial, CO 80122.
Personal care with dignity
Support is shaped around the person. A nursing assessment and an extensive care plan guide the help each resident receives. That help can include bathing, dressing and personal hygiene; medication administration; and incontinence management, all handled with discretion and respect. Weekly manicures and pedicures, hydrotherapy and salon services are also available, so residents can keep up the routines that help them feel like themselves.
Home-like days
Our staff are trained in the Eden Alternative®, which treats aging as continued growth. At Irwin House, that looks like ordinary, meaningful moments: home-cooked meals, walks, gardening, puzzles and games, music, a favorite movie, or reminiscing about years gone by. Pet therapy is also offered through Lighthouse.
