Our staff are trained in the Eden Alternative®, a care philosophy that sees aging as continued growth rather than decline. That shows up in the small things. Residents keep familiar routines, choose how they spend their day, and have chances to help, create and connect. A day might include a walk, gardening, cooking and baking, a game of ball toss, music, or an outing to a restaurant or park.

Lighthouse is family-owned and operated by Liz Littleton, RN, and Tom Littleton, MBA. Each resident's support starts with a nursing assessment and an extensive care plan. Help is available with:

  • bathing, dressing and personal hygiene
  • medication administration
  • incontinence management
  • housekeeping and laundry
  • dementia, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's care

Lighthouse also coordinates with medical and hospice care, so residents can age in place.
